733. Posted December 20, 2023. where there are emotes and pvp there is taunting. (Fortnite, smash bros, Rocket league, even Minecraft (added emotes not to long ago and you could already do pvp) and others) You can get rid of the pvp and no one likes you. You get rid of the emotes and no one will give you money. Yes there is already an option for that. Tab options next to the name of your chat channel gives you the ability to toggle if they appear in chat. Had an enemy prematurely /laugh spam at me in smc today, when I went down. Only for my allies to come and down him, allowing me to res. Needless to say, he ported before I could return the favour
The only way this would work is if they change everyone's skills into emotes, like how Mad King Says in the Ascent to Madness does it. Otherwise, everyone would gain progression, whether they do the emote or not. (Alternatively, anyone without the expansions could just stand there, while those with expansions are punished for having them.)
I know it is quite difficult to make an unique and appealing advertisement, which even fits the length-restriction. A lot of those creative messages get spamed and repeated 3x. Big Thanks to ANet for the wonderful spam-blocker, else our mapchats would be a real chaos. We have /emotes in the game to show feelings, we could use a few more. But
Guild Wars 2 might have more PvE presistent areas vs instanced, and if people are farming a creature those who are new or just reached it would miss out and unbalance the game experience. In my own suggestion page on my user page I suggest having creature herds moving due to seasons, to give a bit of life to areas. Osrov.
